Artwork designed by David Raney, former 1/7 5 Army Ranger from Alpha Company AT, is featured in the Sua Sponte Foundation online merchandise store. Here’s more background about this Army patriot and very talented artist:

David Raney had the pleasure of serving with the 1/75 Regiment from August, 1994 to October, 1996.  When he left the US Army in 1998, he began working as a free-lance scenic artist for a large number of theme parks in Central Florida. He has since become a law enforcement officer serving the Central Florida region for more than 20 years.

Most recently, in anticipation of his retirement in the spring of 20203, Raney began a venture called Dogface Designs.  The enterprise builds props, designs costumes and creates two dimensional art. Examples of their work can be found at:  Instagram@Dogfacedsigns5307.

“I still consider my short time in the Battalion to be some of the most important work I’ve done in my life,” said Raney.  “The lessons taught to me by the Rangers follow me every day, and I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor, and high esprit de corps of my Ranger Regiment.  RLTW.”
