    SP4 Quick is the first 1/75 Ranger Battalion death after reactivation in July, 1974. As such, his is the first name listed on the Ranger Memorial. Quick is buried in South Point Cemetery in Orrick (Ray County), Missouri. He served in Company B, was born in Independence, MO, on 11/9/1951, but lived in Columbia, MO most of his life. He graduated from Hickman High School, Columbia, and had attended the University of Kansas. SP4 Quick died just three days short of his 22nd birthday.
